Monks Eleigh Chapel

The Congregation at Hadleigh grew in strength during the 19th Century and as it grew it settled chapels in the villages surrounding the town. The numbers of village chapels grew to 10 in number, but with the 20th century the number of chapels fell untill there is now just one remaining, at Monks Eleigh.

Mrs Sylvia Roberts is the Secretary at Monks Eleigh.

There is a thriving community life in the village and the congregation there takes a lively part in it.

Services are held at 3 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, when a warm welcome may be received by all who attend.
