NOTICES

‘PRAYING THE STREETS’: This week please pray for those in Alice Parkins Close & Ann Strutt Close.

PRAYER REQUESTS: If there’s someone you’d like the church to be praying for, please write their name in the Blue Folder (Prayer Corner), with a short description of need if appropriate. The list is prayed for weekly.

AGM & BOOK OF REPORTS: Don’t forget that this year’s AGM Church Meeting is on Mon 26 March (7:30pm). The Book of Reports is available today.

THANK YOU! A big thank you to those who made all the beautiful posies last week for Mothering Sunday. And thanks to those who’ve taken them to folks who couldn’t be present. And big thanks too to Jan and her helpers for running the Faitrade Stall over the last three weeks. A great success!

DEFRIBILATOR TRAINING DAYS: Speak to Roger (823642) if you would like to book a place on any of the remaining dates: Fri 23 March 7pm or 8pm, Wed 18 April 3pm or 4pm, Thu 10 May 7pm or 8pm.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY: Please note that after service on Sun 8 April (11:45am) there will be a short time over
refreshments to remember and give thanks for the life Carole Bewsher. Anyone who would like to share a few words about her is welcome to – but please let
Bryn know beforehand.

And Sun 15 April is the day the Revd Peter Ball’s visit to Hadleigh has been rescheduled for (weather permitting!). He’ll be leading the service in the morning and then in the afternoon (2:30pm) he’ll be guiding us through an interactive session on the URC’s new emphasis called Walking the Way – please plan to be there! We’ve invited other URCs in our area to join with us as well, so it will also be a good time of fellowship.

During the morning service the children and young people usually continue their worship in Junior Church. All activities are covered by our Child Protection Policy. Contacts for child safety concerns: Phil Wells (827878), Karen Harman (824765)
